CENTRAL VALLEY, UTAH - Sam Robert "Bob" Gray, 83, of Central Valley, UT, passed away January 22, 2006, at his home in Central Valley.
He was born April 5, 1922, in Inverury (Central Valley), Utah, to Wallace Parker and Ayah Dausel Gray. He married Marjorie Dunn Gray November 24, 1943, in the Manti LDS Temple.
Bob was a member of the United States Army where he served his country in Germany during World War II. He was a farmer and rancher all his life and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to spend time fishing and hunting with his grandchildren. Bob was also a member of the LDS church.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, Central Valley; daughters, Kathy (Rod) Lister, Richfield; Cindy (Ralph) Okerlund, Monroe; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; brother and sister, Bill (Irene) Gray and Betty (Don) Hansen, all of Central Valley.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine (Ray) Nielson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in the Central Valley LDS Ward Chapel in Annabella. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Tuesday evening form 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Annabella Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery with Military Rites by the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050. Funeral directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
