Noah Robinson,was born on 16 Apr 1757 in Cumberland, Providence, RI and died in Stowe, VT on 21 Nov 1848. He was the son of Nathaniel Robinson (1724-1815) and Keziah Robbins (1727-95) who were originally from Attleborough, Bristol, MA and moved in the mid 1750’s to Cumberland, RI. In the mid-late 1770’s the family moved to Westminster, Windham, VT. Nathaniel and Keziah Robinson are buried at Old Westminster Cemetery. and then their sons (Noah, Nathan) settled ca. 1800 in Stowe, Lamoille, VT and are both buried in the Old Yard Cemetery, and their sons, Col. Ezekiel Robinson (1769-1834) and Amos Robinson (1762-1840) are buried in Northfield, Washington, VT at Mount Hope, Cemetery. Son Reuben Robinson (1753-1834) stayed in Westminster, VT and is buried at Westminster West Cemetery
Noah Robinson was a Revolutionary War Soldier.
He served six months in 1775 and nine months in 1776 under Captain Nathaniel Scribner. His unit was called up at the burning of Danbury and the taking of Fort Montgomery in 1777.
He later served under Captain Noah Hoyt in 1778 and 1779.
He was in the Battle of Norwalk.
He applied for a pension on December 3, 1832 which was granted.

He was born in Cumberland RI to Nathaniel Robinson whose family resided in Attleborough MA from the mid 1600’s. Nathaniel then moved the family to Cumberland RI in the early to mid 1750’s then to Westminster VT in the 1780’s after the Rev War whereby they were an early family in Westminster records. They then later moved to Stowe VT.
