Mr. Daniels
Funeral services for Milton Dwain Daniels, 26, of Palestine, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Hassell & Foster Chapel with Rev. Danny Eddy officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories cemetery in Elkhart under the direction of Hassell and Foster Funeral Home.
He died Saturday morning in a Houston hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Daniels was born in Palestine on Oct. 18, 1955. He was the son of R. A. Daniels and the late Ethel Faye Luce Daniels. He was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church. He was a brakeman for Missouri-Pacific.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sandra Johnson Daniels of Palestine; one son, Jonathan Blake Daniels of Palestine; his father, R. A. Daniels of Elkhart; two brothers, Bobby Daniels and Mike Daniels, both of Elkhart and two sisters, Phabris Gernon of Palestine and Linda Schitoskey of Malakoff.
Pallbearers will be Mike Gordon, Hunter Sheridan, Jim Hudson, Charlie Sheridan, C. W. Ross, Ronny Bridges, Larry Bridges and Eddie Bridges.
Condolence calls will be received at the Lionel J. Johnson residence, 729-xxxx.
