Funeral Rites Scheduled to Be Held Monday Afternoon.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Libby) Bowman, 75, died at 2:45 o'clock this morning at the Bartholomew County Hospital, where she had been ill for 10 weeks.

She was born in Indiana on Feb. 4, 1876, the daughter of the late Rev. Israel H. and Hannah C. Mowery Pressly. She was the widow of the late J. Frank Bowman. One child died in infancy.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church at one time, but had been an active member of the Methodist Church at Edinburg for 45 years.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. John Dowd of Indianapolis and Mrs. Frank Mooney of Columbus, O., several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

The body will be taken from the Gosney Funeral Home in Edinburg to the home at 212 West Main Cross Street, Edinburg, where friends may call after 1 o'clock Sunday. Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Edinburg Methodist Church by the Rev. S. J. Kleis. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
