Tillman Hawkins, S.B.
Tillman (Tim) Hawkins, of 2505 W. Foothill Blvd., San Bernardino, died yesterday in a San Bernardino hospital. He was born in Minnesota and was a 35-year San Bernardino resident.
Hawkins, an insurance underwriter for 30 years, was a member of the Rialto Rotary Club, Masonic Lodge 582 and the Fontana Elks Lodge. He was past president of the San Bernardino Shrine Club.
Survivors include a duaghter, Barbara Bishman of Rialto; a son, Tillman R. Jr. of Tustln; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the Ralph , Wm. Allen Funeral Home, Rialto. Burial will be in Rialto Park Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Hawkins, Tillman "Tim"

Tillman "Tim" R. Hawkins, Jr. of Tustin, passed away on Memorial Day May 25, 2015 at the age of 81. A native of Minnesota, Tim's family moved to California when he was very young. After graduating from San Bernardino High School, he served in the Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS De Haven. Returning home to attend San Diego State University, he graduated with a degree in accounting. Working as a CPA in Orange County, he eventually established Holmgren & Hawkins, CPA. His love of the ocean led him to join the Coast Guard Auxiliary, serving for over 25 years, teaching classes, patrolling our coast, and making many wonderful friends. He was a loving husband, father and Papa. He is preceded in death by his wife, Madrienne; survived by his children, Sarah Ann, William (Donna) and John; grandchildren, Delaney and Ryan. A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2015 at Noon at Saddleback Chapel in Tustin. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Saddleback Chapel - Tustin
