MARY ANN ANTELLOCY
Mrs. Mary Ann ( Karbosky ) Antellocy, of Wilkes-Barre Township, entered eternal life Saturday afternoon surrounded by her loving family at home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Peshala) Karbosky . She was educated in the Ashley schools, and graduated from the former Ashley High School. She and her husband, Joseph, celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on June 2, 2007. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre Township.
Mrs. Antellocy was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Francis Karbosky .
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; a son, Joseph and his wife, Marcheta, of Chester Springs, Pa.; daughters Deborah Przywara and her husband, Leonard, of Mountain Top; Theresa Maniscalco her husband, Richard, of Flower Mound, Texas; Joanne Keeffe and her husband, Larry, of Wilkes-Barre Township; granddaughters Amber Fanselau and her husband, Jason; and Amanda Maniscalco; brother Stanley Karbosky , of Ashley; her sister, Eleanor Gay, and her husband, Joseph, of Binghamton, N.Y.; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral with Panachida will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the John V. Morris - Charles J. Leagus Funeral Home, 281 East Northampton Street, Wilkes-Barre Heights. A Concelebrated Rite of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy follows at 9:30 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Church Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, with the Rev. Glen M. Davidowich, pastor, and the Very Rev. James G. Hayer, pastor of Saint Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, North Wilkes-Barre, officiating.
Interment will be in Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, South Main Street, Hanover Township.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. this evening. A Parastas service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with Father Davidowich and Cantor George Daru officiating.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made in Mary Ann's memory to Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 10 Church Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, PA 18702.
