June Holm Shipman 78, Carmel, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007 at Clarion North Hospital in Carmel. Born Oct. 30, 1928 in Scottsbluff, NE, she was the daughter of Axel Hendrickson Holm and Ogda Maria (Frideborg) Holm. She was retired from Ball Corporation, Raymond James Financial and the Marion County Health Deparment. She was an active member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. She loved her family, attending her grandchildren's athletics events and playing with her grand dogs, traveling and was the Secretary of the St. Luke's Singles Council.
Survivors include sons, Gregory K. (wife, Nancy) Shipman of Noblesville, Brian D. (wife, Marilyn) Shipman of Rochester Hills, MI; grandchildren, Michael Shipman, Matthew Shipman and Rachel Shipman, all of Noblesville; sister, Mildred Winkler of Scottsbluff, NE, Edith Daniels of Sapulpa, OK, Alice Henderson of Scottsbluff, NE, Elsie Carlson of Scottsbluff, NE, Virginia Acheson of Loveland, CO; and brother, Rev. Carl Holm of Ravenna, OH, and Rev. Jim Holm of Greeley, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth Holm, and a sister, Dorothy Case.
Services were entrusted to Randall and Roberts Funeral Home of Fishers, Indiana.
