Dennis R. Whitney Was born in Tacoma on May 19, 1939 and passed away from cancer on July 16, 2007, in Richland, Washington. He grew up on S. 56th Street and attended Lincoln High. He is survived by his wife, Susy, sons Brennan, Richard, David, Jared and their wives, 3 stepchildren, and 17 grandchildren, his mother Alta Whitney, Tacoma, brothers Maurice (Kaye), Arkansas, Duane (Sandra), Minnesota, and sister LoRene Whitney, Tacoma. He was preceded in death by his father Dale (Bill) Whitney. Services took place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Richland, and burial was at Sunset Gardens in Richland.
