Phillips, Ruth Wilson, 95, formerly of Bell street, died Wednesday at Care Inn, Maryville. She was the widow of Dr. H. B. Phillips, a retired Presbyterian minister. She was the daughter of Samuel Tyndale Wilson, former president of Maryville College.
She is survived by a sister, Lois Wilson of Maryville. Arrangements are incomplete. McCammom-Ammons Funeral Home in charge.

MEMORIAL SET FOR SATURDAY

A memorial service for Ruth Wilson Phillips, 95, who died Wednesday at Care Inn, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Providence Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Phillips was the widow of Dr. H.B. Phillips, a retired Presbyterian minister. Her father was the late Samuel Tyndale Wilson, former president of Maryville College.
Survivors include a sister, Lois Wilson of Maryville.
Mrs. Phillips nephew, the Rev. Carl C. Murray, director of pastoral care and counseling at Independent Presbyterian Church, Birmingham, Ala., will be sharing in the leadership of the service with the Rev. John T. Mathison.
Interment will be in Lexington, Ind.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Providence Presbyterian Church.
