Mrs. L. M. Rosenbaum, a resident of Washington County for 44 years, died early Saturday morning at the home of her step son, J.C. Rosenbaum, in Blair. Her death resulted from an accident a week ago in which she sustained a broken hip. This injury, together with a heart malady that had afflicted her since last summer, caused her rapid decline at death.

Mrs. Rosenbaum was born 85 years ago in Virginia, and was married in that state in 1883 to Joseph Rosenbaum. They moved to Nebraska and located on a farm east of Kennard where they lived until 1894, moving to Kennard at that time to make their permanent home.

Mr. Rosenbaum died in 1902, and since that time Mrs. Rosenbaum has been making her home with members of her family. She has lived some time past in Blair.

She is survived by four step-children, Mrs. Elvira Spraker of Kennard, J. C. Rosenbaum of Blair, Mrs. Martha Disch, Okla., and Noah Rosenbaum, Salem, Ore. Many other relatives also survive in Nebraska and Virginia.

The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home of J. C. Rosenbaum with Rev. Bader of the Methodist Church officiating and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
