Son of Rev. Jeremiah & Johannah (Kitchell) Peck; Samuel came to Greenwich with his father in 1678. He was well educated and a man of wealth. He was justice of the peace for 50 years, holding other important positions, and was a farmer; in his day, probably the most influential man in the settlement. They resided at Greenwich and he was a Congregationalist.
Supposedly died age 90y which doesn't agree with dates.
