________________

Between 1850 and 1860, several associated families originating in SW Tennessee and NW Lauderdale Co., AL, resettled to the rural area SE of Cameron in Milam County, TX. Among these were several households headed by people with surnames such as Story, Pratt, and Stutts.

Monora's father (Thomas F. Story) was one of these Tennessee immigrants. Twins -- Monora and Eudora -- were born to him in the spring of 1859. Tragically, their Irish-born mother (Biddie Story) died a few weeks after their birth.

Monora and Lutheria resettled (c1915) near Lexington, Lee Co., TX. Ultimately, Monora died at age 93 while visiting a daughter in Galena Park, TX.
