News of the death of Editor David H Crowe which occurred Friday morning of last week, at his home in Quaker Street following a stroke of apoplexy on Tuesday, came as a surprise and shock to his many Milford friends. In 1889 he established the Tidings, two years later after selling the business to the present owner, removed to Quaker Street, where he published the Quaker Street Review. He was an important factor in the life of that Village and did much to improve its conditions. He was a genial, whole-souled man, and his death brings sincere sorrow to many friends in Milford. He leaves behind a wife and two sons, Belden and Leslie, both of whom reside in Schenectady. Editor Wilcox attended the funeral at Quaker Street Sunday afternoon - Milford Tidings
