Andrée Quitak (née Melly), was an actress by profession. She was born in Liverpool, England on September 15th, 1932. She was best known as “Gina” in Hammer Film’s “Brides of Dracula” (1960) in which she was a young boarding school girl turned vampire. She made several appearances on “The Benny Hill Show”. She was the sister of jazz singer George Melly. She was married to Oscar Quitak and was residing on the island of Ibiza, Spain when she died on January 31st, 2020, aged 87 years.
