Russell Bailey

Russell Bailey "Beloved Father & Grandfather" Born Jan 16, 1933 to Walter and Wilma Bailey in Murray, UT.

He lost his battle on July 29, 2007 after a 2-month illness. Married Beverly (Kelly) Phelps on July 19, 1958.

He served as a Sergeant in the Korean War and worked all his life as an auto mechanic. His hobbies included building and working on model trains. Russ was loved by anyone who knew him.

Survived by wife, Kelly; brother, Rex; three children, Blaine (Julie), Jeanine, Rita; eight grandchildren, Jeran, Mark, Tiffanie, Stephen, Mitchell, Crystal, Dylan, Dustin; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Mark, and Spencer.

Friends may call Thursday, August 2nd from 10-11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St. for a viewing prior to graveside services at the Utah Veteran's Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd. scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
