Vera R. Lillard, 90, formerly of Marked Tree, Arkansas, died March 7, 2007, at a nursing facility in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Vera was a member of Central Baptist Church. She worked several different jobs in Marked Tree, and her last and longest job was with the school cafeteria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lillard; three brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Watson of Colorado Springs; two sons, Larry Lillard of Marco Island, Fla., and Ron Lillard of Munford, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Central Baptist Church in Marked Tree. Burial was in Marked Tree Cemetery. Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree was in charge of arrangements.
