MARLOW PIONEER BURIED SATURDAY
Jim H Clak, died in OKC Jan 30, buried here last Saturday; Aged 82. Jim H Clark, who settled in Marlow 35 years ago, died Friday morning, January 30 in an OKC hospital where he was receiving treatment. He was 82 years old and a member of the Church of Christ. Doctors gave the cause of death as apoplexy.
Funeral services were conducted in Marlow Saturday from the J F Calaway & Co Funeral parlor. Services were in charge of Rev J H Hamilton Pastor of the Marlow Church of Christ. Interment was in the Marlow cemetery.
Mr Clark was survived by a daughter, Mrs Ben Atkins of Marlow, three sons, Bill Clark of Apache, Cuba Clark of Apache and Jess Clark of Kansas City.
Mr Clark's son, Bill, was in OKC at the time of his death and had planned to send Mr Clark to Kansas City so that his son Jess could be near him.
Mr Clark had considered Marlow his home until the past two or three years, during which time he had been living at Davidson, Okla.
