A daughter of Daniel and Mary Jane Saunders Barton. She was confirmed into the Moravian church May 20, 1888. She was a caregiver to the sick, and gave service for many years at the infirmary at Salem College. She was married to Julius F. Conrad in August of 1931, but he died only five years later. She died at the age of 82 years, eight months, and four days, and was survived by several neices and nephews.
