Mrs. Bertha Seabaugh, aged 54, wife of George Seabaugh, died at her home, 919 South Fountain Street, early Monday morning. Leakage of the heart was the cause of death.
George Seabaugh is employed by the Leming Lumber Company and has lived here since about four years ago when the family moved here from Sedgewickville. Mrs. Seabaugh had lived in Bollinger county, where she was born, for the greater part of her life.
A husband, four sons and four daughters survive the deceased. The sons are Modie, Herbert, and Wilburn of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and Columbus, of Scopus, Mo. The daughters are Mrs. Ben Hinkle of Blytheville, Arkansas; Mrs. Floyd Seabaugh of Perryville, Mo.; Mrs. Gale Seabaugh of Daisy, Mo.; and Mrs. Sam Eldridge of Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Funeral services were this morning in the United Lutheran Church in Sedgewickville, and were in charge of the pastor of the Methodist church of that place. The body was taken to Sedgewickville this morning and will be buried there.
