Roscoe (Ross) Reid Pendleton
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Roscoe Reid Pendleton, passed away November 11, 1993.
He was born August 25, 1932 in Nampa, Idaho to Leo P. and Matilda Keeler Pendleton.
Married Helen Marie Meyer December 9, 1952 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He proudly served his country during the Korean War. Ross was a prominent and successful Murray businessman. He was an excellent mechanic and skilled machinist. Owner of Valley Head Service, he was honest, hard-working, and took personal pride in every single job. He shared his love of hunting, fishing and his appreciation for the great outdoors with his family and friends.
His special companions over the years were his four English Setters. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Utah Airboat Association, and Gold Prospectors Association of America.
His presence will always be among us in those he left behind: His wife, Helen; daughters, Diana Brewer (David), Cindy Martinez (LeRoy), and son, Arlin Pendleton (Wendy); grandchildren, Ryon, Justin, Shantelle, Rachelle, Celeste, Brittney, Brenton, Taylor and Jeremiah; and his sister, Joy Adams.
Dad has a special place in our hearts. We couldn't have been more proud of him. He was a loving, caring and dependable father whose personal time and work were often interrupted and left behind without hesitation to attend to the needs of his family. The courage he displayed was an inspiration to us all. He was a man of few words, but what he did say came from the heart. He didn't talk about good, he just did good. From all of us, we love you.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 15, 1993 at 11 a.m., at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road. Viewing will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates. Military honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Miss you, Dad! Think of you often, walking in the fields of heaven, with your dogs trotting at your side!|
