Mrs. Melvenia Whaley, 88, of Grubbs, AR., died Wednesday, April 25.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernia Whaley; one daughter, Brenda Whaley; one grandson, Dewayne McDougal; three brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Whaley of Rogers, Ronnie Whaley of Rogers and Steve Whaley of St. Louis; four daughters, Bonnie McDougal of Grubbs, Marion Penix of Newport, Patsy Cunningham of Jonesboro and Debbie Skaggs of Grubbs; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were in Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Gracelawn Cemetery.
