NOTE: Marilda's nickname was 'Rillie'. Rillie was one of triplets. The first triplets born west of the Allegheny Mountains.

NOTE: Obit incorrectly lists that all the triplets lived past 77. Sister Matilda died in her 42nd year.

Mrs. Rilla Needham

Mrs. Rilla Needham, 616 Maplewood Ave., died Sunday at 2 a.m. in Massillon, following an 13 month illness. She was 84. She was the widow of A. Y. Needham. Mrs. Needham was one of triplet girls, all of whom lived to be over 77. She was born Feb. 11, 1863, in Hancock county. She lived in Steubenville and following her marriage came to East Liverpool where she spent most of her lifetime. She was active in church circles, having been affiliated with the Calvary Methodist Church and the Oriental Missionary Society. She leaves a sister - in - law, Mrs. Ella McPherson of Cleveland, and five nephews, Wallace M. Needham of Cleveland, George Conley of East Liverpool, Grant Conley of Los Angeles, Floyd Cooley of Apple Creek, and M. F. Cooley of Warren. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Arner Home for Funerals by Rev. J. F. Dimit of Alliance, former pastor of the First Methodist Protestant Church. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call tonight at the funeral home.
