father: Noah Bliss Webster, born 9 Aug 1706 in Lebanon, CT, died 20 Sep 1762 in Mansfield, CT.

mother: Katharine Newcomb, born 21 May 1710 in Lebanon, New London, CT, died 20 Sep 1762 in Mansfield, CT.

He married Elizabeth Bennett, born 07 Sep 1747 in Preston, New London, CT, died 18 Oct 1825 in Chester, Meigs Co., OH on 28 Feb 1765, at Mansfield, CT.

He raised his family in Mansfield and was admitted to church in Goshen Parish in 1767.

He had nine children:
Isaac (1766-1851)
Augustine (1768-1850)
Lucretia (1770-1831)
Elizabeth (1772-1842)
Noah John (1774-1857)
Huldah (1776- )
Katherine (1782-1807)
Moses (1787-1825)
Jerusha (1789-1867)

Later in life he followed his sons to Columbia Co., NY. He died in Hillsdale, NY. After his death, his wife moved to son Augustine's home in Chester, Meigs Co., OH. Moses is the second great-grandson of Connecticut Governor John Webster.
