ERMA LANDRUM Erma Landrum, 81, of Ovett, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Good Hope Baptist Church in Ovett, with burial in Good Hope Cemetery. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and Ovett Chapter #177 Order of the Eastern Star. A registered nurse, she was retired from Ellisville State School. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.V. Landrum; one daughter, Beverly Landrum Barnes; parents, James A. and Annie Mae Bradley Sumrall; ; three sisters, Evelyn Sumrall, Cecil Mae Landrum and Peggy Sears; and two brothers, Fred Sumrall and Harry Sumrall. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Carol Landrum of Ovett; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Narvel Adams of Ovett and Meriedith and Bob Prejean of Donaldsonville, La.; special nephew, Coleman Johnson of Foley, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons Burke Nichols, Mike Nichols, Jody Nichols, Scott Nichols, Eric Adams and Kirk Landrum. Honorary pallbearers will be Coleman Johnson, Joey Davis, Kevin McLain and Paul Moss. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. today, at Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville, which is in charge of arrangements.
