Charles Leroy Boyer, 63, of 1716 Latrobe St. passed away yesterday at the home of his mother.
Born July 27, 1891, in Emlenton, Pa., he was the son of Adelburt S. and Jennie Neely Boyer. He graduated from Parkersburg high school in 1909, with the highest honors of his class. In June of 1913, he was graduated from Marietta college with an MA Degree, and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Delta Upsilon fraternities and served as business manager for the Mariettana.
He joined the services of the Commonwealth of Mass., serving in the Department of Corporations and Taxation until 1951, with 30 years of continued service.
