She was the daughter of General Hamilton P. Bee and Mildred M. Tarver. She never married. She was the glue that held the Bee family together through emotional and financial difficulties.
San Antonio Light December 18, 1942 S.A. Resident 70 Years Dies Services for Miss Annie F. Bee, 80, of 214 East Evergreen Street, who died at her home Friday, will be held at 2PM Saturday from St. Mark's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Everett Jones officiating.
Interment will be in the Confederate Cemetery with arrangements by Porter Loring.
A retired school teacher, born in Woodstock, Texas, Miss Bee has been a resident of San Antonio for the past 70 years.
She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Zelita Bee Wilson and Laura Mildred Eckert and three nephews, Barnard, Carlos and Benjamin Bee.
She was a member of the Daughters of Barnard E. Bee Chapter of Confederacy, which was named for her uncle, killed at the battle of Manassas. Beeville, Texas was named after him. Family links: Parents: Hamilton Prioleau Bee (1822 - 1897) Mildred Mary Tarver Bee (1832 - 1928)
