Frank was born in Twin Twp., Preble County, Ohio; the son of Milton H. and Phoebe Ann (Reichard) Bierly.

He resided in Eaton most of his life where he farmed tobacco. He was also a member of the local Moose lodge.

He was united in marriage to Grace Stephens, daughter of T.J. and Emma (Beall) Stephens, on September 27, 1902, Preble County, Ohio. This union ended in divorce and without issue.

He was then united in marriage to Etta (Kelly) Bierly. This union was also without issue. Mrs. Etta Bierly was killed in a automobile accident on November 02, 1930.

Frank died in Lewisburg, at the residence of his brother, Everett Jacob Bierly, where he had gone to live.

Frank M. Bierly, 75, a retired farmer, died Saturday morning at the home of his brother, Everett J. Bierly, in Lewisburg. Mr. Bierly had been an Eaton resident. He was a member of the Moose lodge.

He is survived by another brother, Herbert J. Bierly, daily newspaper publisher at Crooksville, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Shields, of West Manchester, and Mrs. Hattie House, of Brookville rural route.

Services were held Monday at the Barnes funeral home with Rev. Marvin Herrick officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill cemetery.

Rites Held Monday For Frank Bierly

Frank M. Bierly, 75, Eaton resident for many years, died here Saturday morning at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Everett J. Bierly, where he had been for five weeks. Death was due to a heart malady of long standing.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Barnes Funeral home in Eaton, with the Rev. Marvin Herrick, pastor of the Eaton EUB church, officiating and were followed by burial in Mound Hill cemetery.

Mr. Bierly, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bierly, was reared in Twin Twp., south of Lewisburg three miles on the Sheep road.

Survivors, besides the brother, Everett, are another brother, Herbert J. of Crooksville, O., and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Shields of West Manchester and Mrs. Hattie House of Little Richmond.

Mr. Bierly had lived in Eaton approximately 30 years, where his wife died 20 years age.
