Gordon, 83, died of heart failure early Monday morning. He was born March 2, 1920 in Dawson Springs, KY. He served in the Army during WWII. He retired from Safeway after 44 years. Gordon married Margie Williams on March 17, 1941. He leaves her one son Dan Colemen; one daughter Marilu Hammann; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. Gordon will not only be missed by his family but also many friends. Visitation Wednesday, July 9, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Services Thursday, July 10, 2 p.m., both at Moore Howard Chapel, 4345 W. 46th Ave. Interment, Arvada Cemetery.
