Richard Baldwin died in 1840 in Rockford, Winnebago, Illinois. Elijah Baldwin's family moved to Rome, Athens, Ohio about 1832. Elizabeth Brown-Baldwin married Elijah Hatch in 1834 in Athens, Ohio. Elijah Baldwin either died in McDonough, Chenango, New York, enroute to Ohio or shortly after they arrived in Ohio. Elizabeth Brown-Baldwin's family had migrated some years earlier to Ohio.
