Kathryn F. Wiest, age 95, formerly of Canton, recently of Traverse City, MI, died Friday in Traverse City after a brief illness. Born in Mt. Cory OH, Kay was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, O.E.S. #23 Findlay, OH, Gyro Club of Canton and B.P.O.E. 2029.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Wiest in 1997; also by a brother, Earl Hamilton; and a Cousin, Kenneth Stauffer. Kay is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, C. Douglas and Evelyn Weist of Suttons Bay, MI. 2 grandchildren, Kenneth Weist and Rev. James Weist, and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Thursday 1:00 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster- SHRIVER Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W., with Rev. Ken Moody-Arndt officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
