1850 Logan KY: PAGE Lemuel J/48, Susan/44, Margaret Ann/21, William F/20, Richard H/18, James Louise/16, Chester P.14.

From deeds, it appears that Lemuel and Susan sold their property in Logan Co KY and moved to Henry Co. about 1855, and their son, William Franklin and wife Susan joined them a few years later.

Lemuel was instrumental in establishing the New Zion baptist Church, the first church in Huntingdale.

1880 census, Big Creek Twp,Henry Co MO lists him as "Samuel J."
