Jane Crockett Love was the daughter of John Draper Love and Susannah Caruthers. John Draper Love was born in Wythe, Virginia, USA to David Love and Mary Draper (1768-1840). His father, David Love (1763-1827) fought in the Rev. War and was the son of Joseph Love Sr. (1728-1804) and Mary Teas (1734-1815). Joseph Love Sr. was the son of Robert Love Sr. and Mary Montgomery. Robert Love Sr. was the son of James Love and Margaret Miller.
Jane Crockett Love married W. L. Wilkes. They had the following children:
