He also received much critical acclaim for his work in "The Barretts of Wimpole Street"(1934), "Les Miserables"(1935), "Anna Karenina"(1935), "Death of A Salesman"(1951), "The Desperate Hours"(1955), "The Bridges at Toko-ri"(1955) and "Inherit the Wind"(1960).
