Robert "Bob" Burgess (Urge), 84, of Cape Coral died Wednesday June 20, 2007 at the Cape Coral Hospital. Bob was born in San Francisco, CA in 1922 to his parents Joseph & Irene Urge. He entered the U.S. Army in 1942 where he served with the 101st Airborne. He fought in Normandy, Battle of the Bulge and Market Garden. Bob was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Stars for his valor and courage. After his discharge he married Dolores Koty in 1949. Bob lived in Cleveland Ohio where he owned and operated a Real Estate business. He retired in 1989 and moved to Cape Coral. He was a life time member of the V.F.W., Cape Coral Social Club, and the Cape Coral Stamp Club. Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dolores of Cape Coral and nieces and nephews.
