Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Llano Mausoleum Chapel with Paul Richard, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.
Mrs. Powell taught school for 33 years prior to moving to Amarillo. Once in Amarillo, she worked at Clack's Radio and Television for 32 years as a bookkeeper.
Survivors include her husband, J.H. "Barney" Powell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
