The death of George Robert LETTENEY, occurred at his home, Digby, on Sunday, September 17. The late Mr. LETTENEY was born at Digby, December 12, 1859. He lived his entire life in the house in which he died. During his early years he followed the sea and later became foreman at the former Digby firm of Sproule Bros. For several years he has been a foreman at the Maritime National Fish Company's plant here. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Jennie MACDONALD, of Fairlee, Vt.; Miss May LETTENEY, Mrs. Charlotte PIPER and Burton LETTENEY, all of Digby. Funeral services were held from the home, Monday afternon at 2:30, Rev. T. W. Hodgson of the Grace United Church, officiating. Burial was in the United Church Cemetery.
