Martha J. Wilburn Fortune, 57, of Short White Oak, Russell, died Tuesday June 23 at her home.
Mrs. Fortune was born March 19 1941 at Russell, a daughter of the late James H. and Nellie Wilburn Cordle.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Fortune four daughters Rhonda Reed and Tracy Adams, both of Russell, Sherry Bowman of Catlettsburg and Lou Ann Miles of Ashland; five brothers, Bill Cordle of Fluorides, Paul Cordle of Indiana, Virgil Cordle and Ronald Cordle, both of Russell, and Richard Cordle of Flatwoods; four sisters, Mary Emily Griffith of Georgia, Shirley Stanley of Florida, Viola Lowry of Huntington, W.Va., and Okie Metz ome in Westwood West Virginia and six grandchildren.
The funeral was conducted at 1.p.m. Friday June 26 at Caniff Funeral home in Westwood by the Rev. Charles Stevens. Burial was in O'Brien Cemetery at Russell.
