Ruby was born on December 15, 1922 in rural Herman, Nebraska to Dewey and Edna Holstein. She attended and graduated from Blair High School. After high school she lived and worked in Omaha for 18 years. She continued working for the Marley Company in Kansas City until her retirement in 1988. In her earlier years in Kansas City, Ruby enjoyed ball room dancing multiple times a week with a friend, and enjoyed watching her Kansas City Royals baseball.
Ruby G. Holstein, age 96 of Blair, Nebraska, passed away May 13, 2019 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation 5-7 pm May 16, Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, Blair, Nebraska. Graveside services will be held in the Blair Cemetery.
