Carrie gave birth to her last child, Marie on May 7, 1932. Marie died Oct. 13, 1932. Carrie was never in good health after giving birth to Marie per her death certificate. Marie is buried in Middlesettlements Cemetery with twin sisters, Merle and Pearl, born Dec. 20, 1925. Merle died Dec. 20, 1925. Pearl died Jan. 14, 1926. The graves are unmarked.

Per Death Certificate, State of Tennessee #4636, Carrie died March 15, 1933. The tombstone originally read 1932. Correction was made in 2018 by Carrie's grandchildren.
