O.J. Lentz is the son of Hiram and Ivanetta (Metts) Lentz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Dorris Winton Lentz; and two brothers Jesse May Lentz and Virgil Hiram Lentz.

He leaves behind his wife Lola Grace (Seward) Lentz; 4 sons Marvin Gunthrey Lentz, Olan Glen Lentz, Ivan Seward Lentz, and Harold Denzal Lentz; and 5 daughters Marie Huston, Eunice Bailey, Wilma Madge Chester, Viola Grace Ellis Bost, and Eleanor Fern Happy.

OLIN J. LENTZ DIED SUNDAY
Olin Jefferson Lentz, age 62, of Hardin died at his home Sunday, January 6, at 3:45 p.m., following an illness of about a year.
Mr. Lentz had made his home in Hardin during his entire life, having been born there January 28, 1883. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge and the Hardin Baptist Church and was well known throughout Ray County. He was the son of H.J. Lentz of Ray County and Ivanetta Mettz of Urbana, Ohio. He was united in marraige to Miss Lola Grace Seward of Hardin on February 16, 1901.
Survivors include: his wife; four sons, Marvin, Ivan, and Denzel Lentz of Hardin and Glenn Lentz of Richmond; five daughters, Mrs. Paul Houston and Mrs. Robert Bailey of North Kansas City, Mrs. R.W. Ellis of Vrobeach, Florida, and Mrs. Farris Happy of Liberty, and six grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held at the Hardin Baptist Church wednesday afternoon, January 9, at 2:00 oclock. Rev. Lawry of St. Louis will officiate and the Thurman Funeral Home is is charge. Special IOOF services will be held at the graveside.
