A former employee of The Baker Observer, she touched many lives through her involvement with the Boy Scouts and her attendance at First United Methodist Church of Baker, where she was a member and officer of the UMW.
She leaves behind a large, loving family, including sons, John, Matthew and Pat; grandchildren, Krista, Wesley, Paul, Gus, Maria Allana, Liz and Alex; six great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and numerous other relatives and close friends whom she loved. She was family to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ellis; son, David Ellis; brother, Lloyd Lafield; and parents, George Edward and Eunice Lafield.
Visitation at First United Methodist Church of Baker, 1255 Camelia Ave., Baker, until service. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Rabenhorst Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
