|Death: ||Feb. 26, 2007|
Alberta Mary Scott passed away peacefully at the Rimbey, Alberta Care Centre on February 26, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Alberta is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Larry James Scott (Jacquie) of Lethbridge and Rodger Arthur Scott (Audrey) of Sundre, six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family. Alberta was predeceased by her husband, William Arthur Scott, in 1978.
Alberta was born in Deerfield, Wisconsin, the youngest of eleven children. Following her father, the family moved to Canada and she was named after the province they were to reside in. Alberta married in 1937 and raised two sons. Not only was she a homemaker, she worked for the City of Calgary at the General Hospital.
After Art's death, Alberta moved to British Columbia where she was closer to her sister. Here, she made many friends and became a dedicated member of the Westbank Seniors and Banff Legion with the Ladies' Auxiliary. In 2000, she moved back to Alberta to be closer to her sons and has resided in the Sundre area for the remainder of her life.
