Marvin was a son of Alvin B. and Effie (Pinkston) Miller who are also buried here.
Marvin married Daisy Anne Filener of Crawford, Colorado on December 18, 1934 in Delta, Colorado. Daisy was born February 21, 1916 in Crawford, Colorado and died March 15, 2010 at Aurora, Colorado. She was buried near many family members at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Crawford, Delta County, Colorado.
It was while Marvin and Daisy were living at 301 N. Richmond Street in Wichita that Marvin's brother, Orlo and his family lived with them for a time.
Marvin was a World War 2 veteran. For many years he was employed as a union concrete finisher in Wichita, Kansas.
At family reunions Marvin enjoyed playing cards with his brothers, during which they would joke, and you could tell they really liked being around each other. I recall Marvin making faces at us kids which made me think he came from a family that took notice of children. (Larry E. Barnes, grandson of Marvin's brother, Orlo.)
Tragically, Marvin developed a drinking problem which eventually led to his marriage with Daisy ending in divorce.
Marvin and Daisy had children:
1. Lois Miller, who married Vernon Bosley.
2. Gary Miller, who married Annette.
Marvin is buried within a few feet of his sister Elsie (Stewart) and brothers Harvey and Bernie Miller.
