BARTHOLOMEW--Harry Bartholomew services Monday
Funeral services for Harry Bartholomew, 82, ____ __th St., who died Friday night in St. Mary Hospital, will be 10 a.m., Monday at McKown Funeral Home with Rev. John McGee officiating.
The body will lie in state after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born Oct. 22, 1888, in Osceola to Joheil and Caroline Lockner, he attended Osceola Schools. He married Martha Gans in Osceola March 16, 1910, and the couple lived in Columbus.
He worked for the old Central Electric and Gas Co., forerunner of Cengas, and received a 30-year pin for service. He retired in 1954 after a 44-year career.
Mr. Bartholomew was a member of Izaac Walton League, IOOF, Columbus Gun Club.
Survivors include daughters, Mmes. Nettie Spidle, Loretta Hansen, Matt (Lorene) Ernst, all of Columbus; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Art; sister, Mrs. Sadie Watts of Omaha.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; daughter, granddaughter; sister, Rose Brandt; brothers, Gus and Lloyd.
