Elizabeth I
Birth: Sep. 7, 1533
Death: Mar. 24, 1603

English Monarch. The daughter of Henry VIII and his ill-fated queen, Anne Boleyn. When her mother was executed and the marriage declared null and void, Elizabeth was declared illegitimate and deprived of her place in the line of succession. When the king died in 1547, despite being officially illegitimate, Elizabeth and her sister Mary were reinstated into the succession. Elizabeth would be third in line behind her brother Edward and Mary. Impressively educated, it became clear at an early age that Elizabeth was gifted. She had a special flair for languages, and by adulthood it was reported she spoke 5 languages fluently. During the reign of Mary, Elizabeth was seen by many as a political pawn, and was implicated in two major schemes and rebellions. She managed to maintain her innocence and avoid execution, despite being imprisoned in the Tower of London for two months. Many around Mary would have liked to have seen her executed, but there was no evidence against her and she was very popular with the people. Elizabeth succeeded to the throne on Nov. 17, 1558 and was crowned on Sunday Jan. 15, 1559. Despite numerous marriage proposals and her own flirty nature, Elizabeth never married, though she came close on two occasions, both of which would have been politically disasterous. Despite having inherited a realm in tatters, Elizabeth weathered the storm of religious division, surrounded herself with wise advisors who were dedicated to her, and used her own considerable political savvy to become the most beloved monarch of all time. When she died at Richmond palace after a reign of almost 45 years, the impoverished and tattered country she'd inherited had become one of the richest, most powerful nations in the world. The death of Elizabeth marked the end of the Tudor dynasty. (bio by: VampireRed)

PS. I would just like to add this - that reincarnation is a reality and so is karma. We all suffer for our sins, as I did for mine. A clear conscience is our greatest asset. Thank you ALL again for your kind thoughts. God Bless you.

To Daisy and Anonymous. Indeed I live and walk these lands again. Death is not the end. Believe me. Reincarnation is a reality. Thank you for all your kind thoughts.
