Mathew R. Wright was the oldest son of Levi C. and Margaret (?) Wright who came to Lincoln Co. just after 1850. They lived at what was called Pleasant Plains, later incorporated into Blanche,TN. Matt and Cordelia lived most of their time at Millville and Delrose, TN They had 8 children, Emmitt Lee-Buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Lincoln Co. TN, Earl Barton Sr. Buried in Fairview Cemetery, Grady Co. OK, Charlie C. alias Walter Edward -CA, Magnolia Susan Thornton-Buried in Shiloh Cemetery,Lincoln Co.TN., Cora Pamelia Arnold Buried in Wright Cemetery, Lincoln Co.TN, Daisy Muriel Higgs Altus- City Cemetery, OK, Frank Eugene Roselawn Cemetery Mangum, OK, and George Al Wright Tipton City Cemetery, OK.

Grave stone was set by 2- Wright Families of Oklahoma in 1998.
Mention of his interment is in the book, Flournoy
