It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bryan. Bryan, age 50, passed away surrounded by his family and friends on January 20, 2019 after a 2-year battle with cancer. Bryan was a lifelong resident of Blair, NE and graduate of Blair High School class of ‘87. He loved helping others. He was a proud member of the Blair Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad for 25 years.

Bryan had a 24-year career at Cargill, where he was well respected and often traveled throughout the United States and internationally.

Bryan is survived by his children Abigail (Abby) and Elizabeth (Lizzy); his wife Carrie; his parents Donna and Lyman; sisters Rebecca Wrightson (Charles Churchill) of Guam, Barbara Wrightson (Telly Kongolo) of South Korea, Cyndi Williams (Max Williams) of London, UK and Rachel Wrightson (Ismene Grohmann) of Oakland, CA; his special friend Susan Cline; in-laws Ernie and Carolyn Brenneis, brother-in-law Chad Brenneis and a large extended family of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his sister Karyn Wrightson.

Visitation will be held January 27, 2019 at Campbell Aman Funeral Home from 5-8pm. Memorial services will be at First Lutheran Church, Blair on January 28 at 11am. At Bryan’s request, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Blair Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad or the Wounded Warrior Project.
