Services for Mildred Morphew, 76, were Wednesday, May 14 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville. Rev. Andrew Simkins officiated, with burial in Danville East Cemetery. Mrs. Morphew died Sunday, May 11 in Hendricks County Hospital, Danville. The daughter of James and Maude (Elder) Russell, she was born February 26, 1910 at Barnard. She married Cecil Morphew [on November 2, 1927]. Surviving are daughters, Sherry Farmer and Jan Miner, both of Danville, and Karen Holler, Indianapolis; sons, Terry Morphew, Indianapolis, and Carl "Jack" Morphew, New Palestine; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
