BROWNING—Addison C. Browning died early Thursday morning at his residence, 213 Bronson Street. He was a native of Glenwood, Ga., and had made his home here for the past 11 months. Prior to his retirement he was engaged in farming. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Callie Browning; five daughters, Mrs. Jewell Hawkins, Miss Runette Browning and Miss Marguerite Browning, this city, and Mrs. Eddiree Gilder and Mrs. Berline Howell, Dublin, Ga.; four sons, Howard, Alvin and Thomas Browning, this city, and Ernest Browning, Savannah, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Ray, Albany, Ga., Mrs. Alma Newton, Glenwood, and Mrs. Bessie McAlum, Thomaston, Ga.; and a brother, John Clint Browning, Glenwood. The body was forwarded Thursday evening to Dublin, where funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Cedar Grove Methodist Church. Local arrangements were under the direction of Seashole Funeral Parlors.
