Nampa — Memorial services for Jane Gaffin, 62, of 312 N 9th Ave, Nampa, who died of natural causes Wednesday at home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa by the Rev. William Evans of the Church of God and the Rev. Jiles Duncan of the Amity Avenue Church of God. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
She was born 16 Jan 1916 at Manchester, Kentucky where she was reared and educated. She married Isaac Mason Murray 26 Oct 1935 at Manchester. He died in 1948. She married Orville Gaffin 18 June 1954, at Tipton, Ind. They moved to Wilmington, Ohio in 1954 and lived there for several years. He died 22 March 1970. She moved to Nampa in 1971.
She was a member of the Amity Avenue Church of God.
Surviving are a son, James Ellis Gaffin of Nampa; five daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Margaret) Minick, Mrs. Everett (Eunice) Hamilton, Mrs. Larry (Jeanie) Whitten, Mrs. John (Marlene) Furguson, and Mrs. Eddy (Kathy) Holbert, all of Nampa; a brother, Hobert Barrett of Kentucky; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret McKee of Venice, Ohio, and Mrs. Rose King of Egypt, Ky.; 35 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five step-children and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
